Certificate of Occupancy (C of O): This is one of the strongest and most secure forms of land title. It is issued by the state government and grants the holder the right to use and develop the land for a specified purpose.

Right of Occupancy (R of O): Similar to the C of O, the Right of Occupancy is a title that gives the holder the legal right to use and occupy the land for a specific purpose, subject to the conditions outlined in the title.

Deed of Assignment: This document transfers the ownership interest in the land from one party to another. It is commonly used in transactions where the land has not yet been granted a C of O or R of O.

Excision: An Excision is a process by which a portion of land is released from government acquisition for private use. After obtaining an Excision, the land can be granted a C of O.

Governor's Consent: This is required for the legal transfer of interest in land, especially in cases where the land was initially acquired by the government. It is an essential step in the process of obtaining a valid title. Statutory Right of Occupancy: This is a land title issued by the state government, providing the holder with the legal right to use and occupy the land for a specified purpose.

A Survey Plan outlines the specific boundaries and measurements of a piece of land. It is crucial for verifying the accuracy of the land size and preventing boundary disputes.

Payments can be made outright in full or installments where you have to pay a particular amount of money and spread the remaining payment over a stipulated period of time.

The transfer of ownership begins with the preparation and execution of a Deed of Assignment. This legal document outlines the terms of the transfer and is signed by both parties involved. The buyer will need to provide passport-sized photographs, proof of payment, and other documentation as required by the legal process.
